The regular monthly meeting of the Village Board was held on December 15, 2009 at the Municipal Building. Members present: Paul Mertz, Tony Caswell, Sandra Lyles, Richard Piechowski, Betty Eannelli, Angie Ralls and Jerry Sieg.  Also present: Village clerk-treasurer Madonna Berube.   

Public Forum - Bruce Schalow, Maritime Insurance presented a proposal for insurance coverage's.

REPORTS:  Field work by the audit firm for the General Fund will be February 1st to 3rd and the Sewer/Water funds will be done February 22 and 23.  The application to East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to perform update on zoning maps was approved by them but the request for update of Ordinances was not. An emergency repair was necessary to replace the hydraulic cylinder on the tractor, pump purchased from Service Motors at cost of $602.16. The new warden at the Correctional Institution is Mike Dittman.  Agenda item regarding discussion about Joint Municipal Court was postponed to a later date.

FINANCE/PERSONNEL/INSURANCE - Presentation by Rob Krolow, The Horton Group for insurance coverage's. Motion was approved to have the committee meet, discuss the proposals and choose the coverage most advantageous for the Village.  Approved the 2010 employee wage rates and benefits and hiring of Anthony Piechowski as part time employee.  Approved annual employee recognition to be same as done for 2008.

POLICE & FIRE - Discuss revised Inter-Municipal Fire District Agreement.  Due to changes in this agreement, this item was tabled, Board members will receive a copy of the agreement and consider and act on same at the January 19 meeting.

PARKS/CEMETERY - Reminder to committee to seek information and cost of protective camera equipment.

MISCELLANEOUS - Approved operator license application for Brandi Rilling and Amalia Henschek.  Appointment of election inspectors and special voting deputies for a two year term was approved.  The Caucus will be held on January 14, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
